Options for labels to be formatted such as
- Title Case All Words
- lowercase all words
- UPPERCASE ALL WORDS
- Sentance case the entire text
This is the kind of value-added feature lacking from most (if not all?) of the mainstream dashboard apps, I suspect because devs assume users can accomplish such text transformations using rules back on the hub.
However, as multi-hub DB apps emerge like HV, rule-writing quickly becomes a serious annoyance, and I dare say virtually impossible if the hub designer(s) didn’t think to implement the necessary string actions.
I may need to revisit my “Dashboard Apps of 2023” chart and insert a new feature row (or two) for “Text Manipulation/Substitution”.
