Would it be possible for the app to monitor whether connectivity gets lost to a particular client? For instance, if the battery in my Amazon Fire ran out and the app stopped responding, could I get a notification from HV?

Likewise, if the power went out and was later restored while my PC was running the web app, could I receive a notification? Or an event sent on my behalf to MakerAPI API?

I’m envisioning a feature where the app senses when one or more of my installations drops out and lets me know, as well as when the connection gets restored. Intern, I could have Rule Machine rules react accordingly, possibly including a tile in HV showing me the status of each login.

I really like this concept but I have some questions:

Is this even possible at the radio level (Zwave/Zigbee)?
Isn’t it handled differently from one device to another?
In any case isn’t it better to take care of this at the hub keeping Hubivue as simple as possible?
I would love to have this capability, I just don’t see how to get there from here.
